[ A new girl in town. She doesn't look new. BUT SHE IS. She's in one of the classrooms at the school, putting up drawings on the walls. Most of them appear to have been done with charcoal. ]

My name is Tess, and I'll be starting at the school on Monday. I'll be teaching English, and we'll be starting with 'At the Mountains of Madness'. Well, it usually surprises me when I lose at anything, probably because I'm so used to getting my way.
